Abeer has been a part of HOPE for many, many years. HOPE is rooted in the  Children’s Peace Project. As part of that project in 2006,  Abeer chaperoned 6 children from the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Palestine to All Saints School in Cincinnati. Since then, Abeer has been and continues to be instrumental in Talents Unlimited’s success in the LP Schools. She believes it’s an essential program for their schools, as she witnessed the way  it has changed teaching styles as well as learning styles in the LP Schools.  Abeer formerly was the principal of the LP School in Nablus for twenty years,  and now serves as the Executive Director of the LPS. Abeer takes her role as an educator to heart. She works diligently with teachers and parents to achieve a common goal: provide the best education possible which benefits the whole child.

Since Abeer took on the new position as Executive Director of the LPS, she lives part time in Ramallah, but still resides in Nablus. This will be her third time in Cincinnati. She will be hosted by her dear friend, since her first visit to Cincinnati, Sandy Tremblay. Besides the educational goals of this visit, Abeer is looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. HOPE anxiously awaits your arrival, Abeer!
