Afifeh with her husband Butros Abed and three children ages: 24, 22 and 17, live in Birzeit near Ramallah, Palestine. Afifeh teaches English as a foreign language to first and second graders at the Latin Patriarchate School in Birzeit. She enjoys working with young children, especially first graders, as they are so open and eager to learn, which allows her to use the methods of Talents Unlimited to help them to identify and solve problems. She is looking forward to being further trained in TU so as to build upon it in her classroom. Afifeh is partnering and hosted by Michelle Frye who teaches at Holy Family. She is very excited about her first trip to the USA. HOPE looks forward to your arrival, Afifeh!
