Mirna and her husband Issa live in Beit Sahoor, Palestine. Mirna taught English at the LP School in Beit Jala for eleven years to grades 4th-6th and 8th-12th. She pursued her Master’s degree in educational management, which led her to her present position of Educational and Academic Coordinator of the Latin Patriarchate Schools. Mirna has been trained in Talents Unlimited, and used the critical and thinking skills model in her classroom during her last three years in the classroom. She is heading the implementation of Talents Unlimited in the LP Schools. Sharon Bohlen, English teacher at Mt. Notre Dame High School will be hosting and partnering with Mirna.
