The Moeller team met the last few days at separate meetings with the administration, selected upperclassmen, teachers and parents to explain the House System and answer questions.

In our first meeting with the administration, we discussed a few ways to tailor the program to work for their school. If implemented they will most likely have a three house system with two mentor groups per house and meet three times a week for thirty minutes.  Since it’s a co-ed school single sex mentor groups was discussed and seemed to be agreed upon by most all in attendance at the meetings.

The Jaffa school is filled with students with great leadership skills, a dedicated and caring  administration and staff, and parents who deeply care about the education of their children.

If approved the program will be implemented next year, but the 11th grade students along with the administration and staff will begin making decisions about THEIR House System this year.

Outside of the meetings the Moeller team was treated so generously with the best food the Holy Land has to offer and LOTS of site seeing. Truly our time in Nazareth will be remembered and cherished always!

A special thank you….make that a BIG thank you to Saad Rahhal for EVERYTHING he did to coordinate every detail of our Nazareth visit: meetings, dining, and touring (including Jerusalem with a very special tour guide…Fr. Bernt Besch).  When is comes to hospitality…Saad wrote the book!
