As one of the blessed people who loves their job, that love went to a whole new level for me when I joined the HOPE pilgrimage to the Holy Land to teach Talents Unlimited to teachers of the Latin Patriarchate Schools and the AOC.

Having never visited a foreign country, I was in awe of the landscape in Nablus, especially St. Joseph’s School, which is built into a mountain!

The students and teachers were delighted to see us and the school was filled with evidence of creative and critical thinking using Talents Unlimited.

A 10th grader stood up in his class and thanked us for bringing Talents to his school so he could learn to think!

The president of the student council used the Planning Talent to propose a party for the school. Ms. Abeer, the principal, could not resist such a well-thought out plan. What an amazing use of learning applied to the real world!

Nadia and Wafa have been excellent mentors to these teachers and the students will certainly benefit in this culture of thinkers!

It was a joy to be in Nablus and share the Talents program with the teachers, and it was an even greater joy to be with the students and see them using Talents in their classrooms and loving learning!
