On day 6, the LPS educators met at the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Office with Cindy Hardesty, Regional Director of the Catholic Schools Office, to learn about the mission and direction of the AOC schools. The LPS teachers shared information about their schools as well.

Dr. Mike Gable, Director of the AOC Mission Office, discussed furthering our relationship with the Latin Patriarchate Schools by encouraging more twinning relationships. Twinning not only connects schools but also connects parishes. St. Andrew Parish in Milford has twinned with Annunciation Parish in Beit Jala, and All Saints Parish in Sycamore Township has twinned with St. Joseph Parish in Nablus.

Kelly Lomax, International Project Director of Talents Unlimited spoke to the group about the TU program which the LPS teachers participated in this past week. This year’s program  included ways to implement technology into the TU methods to further engage the students.

Bishop Joe Binzer warmly welcomed each of the LPS educators to Cincinnati and was eager to hear about everything the teachers accomplished this past week.

HOPE is most grateful to Bishop Binzer, the AOC Catholic Schools Office, and the Mission Office for their continued support of the HOPE mission.
