HOPE  welcomes Waseim  Kasabry to Cincinnati. Waseim is the Information Technology Officer  for the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Palestine. He also is the IT teacher for the 11th and 12th grade students at the LPS in Beit Jala. This is Waseim’s second visit to the USA. His first visit was in 2011 when he came with the first group of teachers from the LPS to the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Waseim is married to Khawla Hawwash. They have three children: Suhail (12), Merelle (11), and Joelle (9).
While he is here, Waseim hopes to learn and  invent new ways to improve the communication between the LPS and AOC  teachers.  He also is looking forward to learning about the House System at Moeller High School. Building new friendships, telling Americans about life in Palestine, and meeting with Eagle Scouts are also on his to do list.
When asked what places he dreams to visit in the US, he answered: the White House, Microsoft, and Hollywood. He’d love to meet Bill Gates (and have his picture taken with him),  Mark Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook), and the president.
Waseim is thankful to HOPE for giving him and others in Palestine hope, which encourages them  to stay in their homeland. He also is thankful for the educational tools,  particularly Talents Unlimited.
Waseim wants people to know that he,  his family and friends are people of love, who pray to have freedom and live in peace.
